As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year filled with growth, challenges, and achievements. This year has been a testament to the power of collaboration between our hackers, customers, and the entire Intigriti team. 

In January 2024, we returned to our roots in Belgium, where it all began, to reflect on the lessons of 2023 and set a bold vision for the year ahead. With hacking as our mindset, we committed to disrupting the status quo and driving innovation in cybersecurity. 

Here’s a look back at what we accomplished together in 2024.

To Our Hackers 

Intigriti is built by hackers, for hackers. Our mission has always been to empower you, our community, to thrive. This year, we focused on understanding your needs better and delivering tools, resources, and opportunities to make your experience more rewarding—both financially and personally. 

From fairer bounties and improved mediation processes to engaging content and in-person events, we worked tirelessly to ensure you felt supported and valued. And the results speak for themselves: 

• 100K+ researchers across 180+ countries 

• 30 highly technical blogs and 50+ technical YouTube videos for continued education 

• 4,000 CTF players in our annual CTF, with 9,000 flags submitted 

• 18 onsite events, including Defcon, NullCon, and Open Port events 

• 11,000 engaged researchers in our Discord community and 170K followers on X

To Our Customers 

To our customers, thank you for trusting us to help secure your organizations. This year, we worked closely with you to design competitive bounty programs, implement hybrid pentests, and provide tailored advice to strengthen your security posture. 

Here’s what we achieved together in 2024: 

• Global customer growth from 33 countries  

• 120K program invites sent 

• 20,000+ triage hours, saving time for our customers 

• 31% high-impact submissions (high, critical, or exceptional)  

• 70% validity ratio on reports 

• 30% of customers running hybrid pentests 

Our engineering and product teams also worked tirelessly to enhance the platform, ensuring it remains the foundation of your success. This year, we delivered: 

• 18 platform releases 

• 33 new capabilities for researchers and customers 

• A platform migration for faster, more effective responsiveness 

• An innovative AI foundation to support internal and external stakeholders 

By analyzing our data, we identified the top 3 vulnerabilities found this year: 

• 18% of vulnerabilities were cross-site scripting (XSS), allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts. 

• 16% of vulnerabilities involved information disclosure, exposing sensitive data. 

• 14% of vulnerabilities stemmed from security misconfigurations, leaving systems open to exploitation. 

These vulnerabilities were most prevalent in the manufacturing, consumer, software, and retail industries. The top three countries where researchers earned the most were the United States, Belgium, and Switzerland—highlighting the global nature of cybersecurity expertise.
